The Initial Condition occurs when both buyside and sellside liquidity are taken. In ICT, it is known as a Judas swing.

The manipulation move must align with a Feigenbaum target.

The Initial Condition is only drawn from the highest and lowest candle bodies of the consolidation. Candles which wick outside the liquidity are not counted as part of the Initial Condition.

Steps to identify Initial Condition

  1. Identify high and low swept
  2. Extend lines to the left until you hit a wick
  3. Project Feigenbaum Price-Fib
  4. If it aligns with +F1 and -F1 targets, profit
